To portray the status of higher education in the country, Ministry of Human Resource Development conducts an annual web-based All India Survey on Higher Education (AISHE) since 2010-11. Data is collected on several parameters such as teachers, student enrolment, programmes, examination, results, education, finance, infrastructure etc. Indicators of educational development such as Institution Density, Gross Enrolment Ratio, Pupil-teacher ratio, Gender Parity Index, Per Student Expenditure etc are also calculated from the data collected through AISHE.
In this connection, Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India, has released their report on All India Survey on Higher Education (AISHE) for the years 2010-11 and 2011-12. As per their database, Chandragupt Institute of Management Patna (CIMP) finds first place out of 5746 standalone institutes across the country, in terms of furnishing the required information at the earliest to fulfil their requirements. It is to be noted that CIMP is also the only state government aided autonomous institute in the country to do so. Reffered link:- Click here
