LIBRARY RESOURCE CENTRE

Library Resource Centre (LRC) is the hub of the Chandragupt Institute of Management Patna that serve as a creative and innovative partner in supporting the teaching, learning, scholarly and research activities of the Institute. A vibrant centre proactively acquires and organizes information resources, in a massive collection of printed as well electronic resources which include books, journals, e-databases, e-books, e-journals, company reports, case studies, conference proceedings, training manuals and more . The library has now a collection of 9552 books, 125 print journals, 18 newspapers, 400 government publications, 900 Harvard titles, 350 handbooks and non-book materials collection includes 580 CD-ROMs received with books, 100 management videos, 15 business movies and 231 business audios for the end users. The library has the facility to access e-resources as part of collaboration from Harvard Business Publishing, an independent unit of Harvard Business School and INDEST-AICTE Consortium,  jointly established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) and IIT Delhi. Users are seamlessly accessing online business databases such as Prowess, Industry Analysis Service(IAS), IBID and more. 

Apart  from above, more than 4500 full text journal titles are available in the databases such as EBSCO and EmeraldInsight subscribed to by the library. A fully state-of-the art modern digital library offering user services such RFID Automated System, Automated Circulation System, Document Delivery Service, Library Orientation, New Arrival Service, News Clipping Service, Digital Library Service , Current Content Service , Online Public Access Catalogue powered by VTLS, Bibliographic Service, Photocopy and Printing, Institutional Repository, Video Digital Library, Virtual Reference Service and expert support to the users.
