In this time of crisis, a well-rounded and effective educational practice is what is needed for the capacity-building of young minds. It develops skills that will drive their employability, productivity, health, and well-being in the decades to come, and ensure overall progress. With the outbreak of COVID-19, different essential measures were taken at CIMP to ensure continuity of learning. Our advanced IT infrastructure enabled us to start classes through online mode. It was not a matter of surprise for CIMP to conduct classes through online mode, it is in our practice since before COVID period to conduct online meetings, interaction with alumni, guest lectures, online quiz and online interviews. The online mode allows innovative methods of teaching with the help of technology and online tools. We are prominently using two LMS (Learning Management System) platforms: Moodle for conducting several assessments, mid term and end term exams; and Google Classroom to organise the live classes along with submission and sharing of documents and assignments. With this, the institute is ready for conducting online and offline placement drives.
