Marketing MDP: Idea, Intervention, and Income

Do you have an idea? Do you plan to start your business soon? This program will provide you the techniques and the tools to transform your ideas into desirable business models. To thrive in this competitive environment the managers need to develop plans that align them with their consumers. They need to transform their ideas into feasible and viable interventions. This program helps the managers examine the value creation perspective of the business. You will be guided by CIMP Faculty and industry professionals to design, communicate and execute new business plans.

The objectives of the MDP are:

• To apply appropriate business plan frameworks to transform your ideas into business models and design business plans
• Understand your companies resources and capabilities
• Analyse the strengths and weaknesses of your competitor
• Explore the role of collaborator in go-to-market power
• Analyse and understand the consumer needs and buying behaviour
• Understand your role in developing and implementing a marketing plan

• Components of business plan
• Strategic analysis – Understanding the context, Knowing the Customers, Appraisal of the Company and the Idea, Analysing the Competitor strategy, learning from the Collaborators
• Setting Marketing objectives and goals
• Designing a Marketing plan and measuring the effectiveness
• Marketing Plan exercise

• Early stage start-up owners or individuals aspiring to transform their ideas into business
• Junior and mid level executives from manufacturing organisations, service organisations, non-profit organisations/cooperatives/farmer organisations
