Retailing is an incredibly complex business with a plethora of challenges. Brick-and-mortar (store-based) retailers, in particular, are faced with the challenges of high rentals and operating expenses, assortment planning, supply chain management, pricing, store management, staffing, and finally, competition from discount-driven eCommerce operators, denting their profitability, and sometimes even threatening their very survival.
This one-day programme aims at equipping participants with the requisite knowledge and skills to navigate the increasingly uncertain and challenging retail environment and shore up their store brand image, customer loyalty, and bottomline.
In view of the dynamic nature of retailing, where an optimum balance of standardisation and localization of strategies and tactics is essential for an efficient and profitable operation, this programme is designed to sensitise the participants about the complexities of the environment and adaptations required.
