PGDM IEV: Course Structure

PGDM-IEV (Post Graduate Diploma in Management, Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Venture Development) course has five Modules, two Action Learning Segments and three Capstone Projects to enable students to learn to recognize, create and shape a business opportunity, develop leadership and build a start-up team, construct business models, and assess market feasibility for launching new start-ups. The details are as:

First Year

Foundation of Management and Entrepreneurship
  • Module-I: Innovation and Entrepreneurship Opportunities
  • Module-II: Creative & Entrepreneurial Learning and Skills for Value Creation
  • Module-III: Designing Sustaining and Scalable Enterprising Model
  • Capstone Project-I: Problem-Solution Fit (Proof-of-Concept)
  • Capstone Project-II: Market-Product Fit (Innovation & Business Model)
Experiential Learning on Innovation and Start-up Environment
  • Action Learning Segment-I:
    • Enterprise Residency Learning Program at Incubation Unit/Acceleration Centre /Start-up/SME/Knowledge Agency

Second Year

Entrepreneurial Skills, Actions and Enterprise Planning
  • Module-IV: Creating, Managing and Growing New Venture/SME/Family/Social Enterprise.
  • Module-V: Planning and Effective Management of Innovation, Incubation and Technology Transfer Facilities.
  • Module-VI: Innovation and Entrepreneurship Policy Implementation and Policy Entrepreneurship.
  • Capstone Project-III: Business Model Fit (Enterprise Planning)
Entrepreneurial Practices & Value Creation Action Options
  • Action Learning Segment-II: (Any One)
    • Start-up/Venture Establishment & Performance
    • Social /Development Sector Enterprise Management
    • Innovation, Incubation & Technology Transfer Facility Management & Performance
    • Innovation, Startup & IP Policy Analysis, Design & Implementation
    • Family Enterprise Development & Management
Final Exit Completion of "MBA/PGDM in Innovation, Entrepreneurship and & Venture Development " Degree
