Entrepreneurship MDPs: START-UP MANAGEMENT

The programme is meant to give the participants an overview of entrepreneurship and the evolving start-up ecosystem of India and then help them turn their ideas into effective business models – or, if they don’t have ideas at the moment, to help them generate some and then take them forward. The programme will be delivered by a mix of resource persons that includes faculty members from CIMP as well as practitioners and policymakers.

The objectives of the MDP are:

• To identify opportunities and generate business ideas
• To understand the importance of feasibility analysis and carry out one for the idea generated above
• To understand the importance of industry- and (potential) competitor analysis and carry out one for the idea generated above
• To write a business plan and develop a business model

• Early-stage start-up owners
• Individuals with an idea and a strong desire to turn it into a business
• Individuals with a strong desire to be their own boss, with or without an idea

• Residential (INR): 40000 plus taxes and surcharges as applicable.
